| Founded in 1936 in Southern Africa by Francis Grim, HCFI is active in more than one hundred countries around the world. In the USA the Hospital Christian Fellowship began in 1972 in California by Aubrey Beauchamp, a nurse at San Clemente Hospital. HCF-USA now reaches caregivers in all states. | |

To teach
healthcare professionals, caregivers and volunteers how to meet the spiritual
needs of their patients and fellow workers through evangelism, prayer
and discipleship. This is accomplished through conferences, seminars,
literature, tapes, a prayer network, personal visits and 'A New Heart' magazine.
